Research Process: A Step-By-Step Guide

Tip!

Remember to evaluate the websites you find before you using them in your research assignments.

Search Google Scholar

Google Scholar provides an easy way to search for scholarly literature across many disciplines and resources.

Google Scholar Search

When you search Google Scholar, you can apply a setting that will identify and link to full-text articles located in the Pacific Oaks College Library online collection. To do so:

  • Go to https://scholar.google.com/
  • Select "Settings"
  • Select "Library links"
  • Type in box: TCS
  • Click on the search icon
  • Click in the small box next to "TCS Education System Library"
  • Click "Save"

Once you apply this setting, the results returned from a Google Scholar search will display links along the right-hand column to any documents available in their entirety through the Pacific Oaks College Library collection.
