Saybrook Department of Research

A guide to the Saybrook University Department of Research

Mission

The Department of Research is an interdisciplinary academic unit dedicated to providing rigorous and innovative student-centered research instruction. We promote academic excellence for all students through a teaching approach that values applied research, encourages transformational change, and upholds humanistic values that are central to the Saybrook mission.

Who We Serve

As an interdisciplinary academic department, the Department of Research (DoR) supports students in the College of Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences (CIMHS) pursuing graduate degrees in Mind-Body Medicine, Integrative and Functional Nutrition, Integrative Social Work, and Applied Psychophysiology, as well as students in the College of Social Sciences (CSS) working toward graduate degrees in Clinical Humanistic Psychology, Humanistic Psychology, and Transformative Social Change. As such, you will have the opportunity to learn about research within a community of scholars bringing diverse experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds.
