Description: |
"The Hand Test is a projective technique consisting of ten cards upon which pictures of hands are drawn. The subject is asked to tell what the hand looks like it is doing and the scored responses derive the extent of interpersonal, environmental, maladjustive and withdrawal tendencies. The test is quick to administer and score. Because it is enjoyable to take and requires only verbal responses, it can be given to both adults and children. There are two manuals, one of which describes how the test may be used to assess adult personality and behavior; the other focuses on the responses of children and adolescents. These manuals also contain norms and reliability and validity data" Citation: Wagner, E. E. (1983). The Hand Test, Revised 1983: Manual. Los Angeles: Western Psychological Services.
