Description: |
The Wechsler Individual Achievement Test-Third Edition is a diagnostic achievement test that is individually administered to students in Grades Prekindergarten (age 4) through grade 12 (age 19 years and 11 months). The WIAT-III is designed to (a) identify academic strengths and weaknesses, (b) inform decisions regarding eligibility for services, placement, or diagnosis of specific learning disabilities, and (c) design instructional objectives and plan interventions. Thus, the primary goal of the WIAT-III is to provide more in-depth academic assessment and intervention recommendations particularly for students who may have specific learning disabilities. |
