Ukraine Conflict: How to Help

Information about the current conflict in Ukraine: its history, the current situation, psychological aspects, and how you can help.

DC Campus Book Drive

The Washington, D.C. campus of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is running a book drive with the proceeds going to the International Rescue Committee in Ukraine.

You can donate new or used books at the DC campus library on South Campus at 901 15th St NW. Each book donated is eligible for a $5 reduction in library fines accumulated over the Spring 2022 semester. The book drive will run from March 15th through May 31st.

In addition, you can head to the library to donate to the International Rescue Committee, and the library will match your donation by waiving the donation amount from your Spring 2022 library fines.

Please contact Taylor Diken or email dclibrary@thechicagoschool.edu with any questions.

SUCHO

The project Saving Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Online (SUCHO) is a volunteer group of "cultural heritage professionals – librarians, archivists, researchers, programmers – working together to identify and archive at-risk sites, digital content, and data in Ukrainian cultural heritage institutions while the country is under attack" (SUCHO, 2022). Volunteers with technical expertise are encouraged to join as the group collects links of Ukrainian cultural heritage institutions and saves their data.
