What is Mentor?
Saybrook uses Mentor, an online software platform that facilitates several research administration activities. The Mentor system can be accessed via the Saybrook Academic Commons using your Saybrook login credentials.
The Mentor system has three areas:
- Mentor Petitions, as part of Dissertation Services, enables doctoral student researchers to file their Petition to Form Dissertation Committee (PTFDC) and their dissertation milestone reports to track their dissertation progress.
- Mentor IRB, as part of the Institutional Review Board, is where researchers submit their IRB applications before conducting research studies involving human participants or their data.
- Mentor Grants, as part of Sponsored Programs, simplifies the research grant application and post-award reporting processes.
