Description: |
The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children—Fifth Edition is the latest version of this venerable measure of intelligence. Like its predecessor, the WISC-V is an individually administered test of intelligence for children ages 6-0 to 16-11. This version includes 16 subtests designed to measure five broad cognitive abilities: Verbal Comprehension, Visual Spatial skills, Fluid Reasoning, Working Memory, and Processing Speed, with composite index scores reflecting those abilities. Also included is a traditional Full Scale IQ (FSIQ), summed from seven subtests measuring each of these broad abilities.
