The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Professional Learning Community (PLC) welcomes members of the Saybrook community - as well as interested professionals, scholars, and community members beyond the university - who are committed to engaging in thoughtful, research-informed exploration of DEIB topics.
This PLC is not a club or policy group, but rather a collaborative, academic space for shared learning and scholarship. Members participate in activities such as:
• Reading and discussing current research
• Generating resources or presentations
• Sharing professional or lived experience through an academic lens
• Collaborating on research, writing, or public scholarship
If you are passionate about DEIB and interested in contributing to a dynamic, evidence-based learning collective, we invite you to join us. All disciplines and perspectives are welcome, as long as they align with the mission and scholarly goals of a professional learning community.
