A guide to finding affordable and Open Access resources for faculty

Why Search for OER Collections?

Open Access Collections

Open Access Textbooks

Open textbooks are free, online learning materials with Creative Commons licenses. Many of the collections will have links to the same books, but each will have a particular focus.

Open Access Repositories

OER repositories contain more than just open textbooks, They offer open courses, lectures, videos, readings, activities, and other supplemental materials, designed to support faculty and students.

Open Access Databases

Check out this extensive list of Open Access Databases filtered out from our A-Z Databases page. Content ranges from open access articles and journals to research archives and image libraries.

Search in OneSearch

Take a look in our catalog for OA resources. Just input your keywords or search terms and then filter Open Access and OERs from the Content Type on the left-hand side. You should see only resources with the Open Access symbol.
