Library Course Readings in Canvas (Pilot Phase)

Adding your own PDFs

1. Click the Add  button with the plus sign.

2. Select Upload Files

 

3. Drag and drop your file or click to browse your files

4. Confirm the copyright status (or request a review from the library). 
6. The title should load automatically, however, confirm that the info is correct.
7. Select Next

8. Enter any details you want to include about the document and select Next

9. Choose which section to add the file to

10. You also have the option to add notes for the students, add a due date, or add a tag

11. Click Add to add it to your list

Adding web links

1. Click the Add button with the plus sign.

2. Select Manual Entry

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Use the drop down menu under Type and select Website.

4. Enter the name of the website under Title

5. Select Next

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. Enter the URL for the website and any other information you wish to include. Click Next.

7. Select the Module you wish to add it to and any other information you wish to provide for your students. Select Add.
