The Community Solution Libraries' Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery (ILDD) is a service that enables users across the system to borrow physical materials (at selected campus libraries only) and receive electronic documents that are held by another library or purchased at the article/chapter level at the point of need.
Since most libraries lack the space, capacity, or financial resources to develop and maintain a comprehensive collection of resources across all areas of study, this service fills gaps by borrowing from regional, national, and international libraries. Our reciprocal relationships with our other libraries also mean that our libraries lend items to other libraries in electronic and physical formats.
ILDD conducts all transactions by the National Interlibrary Loan Code for the United States and the International Lending and Document Delivery and U. S. Copyright regulations.
Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery services are available to all current students, staff, and faculty across The Community Solution Education System and affiliate libraries.

Looking for an article or book chapter that we don't own? You can request articles, book chapters, and theses from another library and they will be delivered via email as a PDF. Documents are usually delivered within 24 hours (depending on the availability of the request).
Step One - Open One-Search and search for your item.
Go to the TCS Education System general library catalog OneSearch. Enter your search term(s) and click the search icon. Once you have your results, review them for useful items.
Step Two - Make sure you Sign in. If you are not signed in already, you will be prompted.
Use your institutional information to sign in. You may be prompted at the top of the screen by the website (in a yellow box), or you may click at the top right panel where it says "Sign in."
Step Three - If you don't find something you are looking for, to the right of the Search Bar, change the scope of the search from "System Search" to "Beyond my Libraries (Interlibrary Loan)."
Another way to do this is to follow the prompt below the search box which says "Click here to expand your search."
Step Four - Make sure the "Resource Type" is set to Articles and/or Book Chapters.
Go to the left side of the screen of your search results, and filter them by "Resource Type." Only articles and book chapters can be digitally delivered to you at the system level. Don't forget to click the green button to "Apply Filters"
Step Five - If you found your item listed in the search but it's not available through your institution, click on the small globe icon with the label "Get it for me from other libraries."
This will open the detailed page of the item. Look for a section called "Get it from other locations." It may tell you that you can get a digital copy. If so, you may click the "Get it" button.
Step Six - Fill in brief the "Request Digital Version" form.
Make sure your email is correct, add a note for the librarian if you wish, confirm that you will abide by copyright restrictions, and click "Send." You will receive an email confirmation. You will also be able to view your request in your Library Account.
Alternative - Find the Blank Form
If you are looking for a specific book that you do not see in the library catalog, you can also fill out a blank ILL form. You can find it on the results page under the search bar, or from the top dropdown (three dots) menu on the search page
Fill out the Blank Form
Choose whether the item you are requesting is an article or a book. If your library does not allow physical requests, you may only request one chapter from a book. Be sure to select "I only need a specific chapter or pages." Fill in the required information such as title, ISBN, chapter title (if requesting a specific chapter), and pick-up location. Select "Digital Requests Only - Articles/Book Chapters" for all digital requests. Read and acknowledge the Copyright terms, and select "submit."
Physical ILL delivery is currently only available for certain campuses. Take a look at your local library's interlibrary loan instructions to see if your library allows it. The request process is the same as that of ILDD. Simply search for the book you want to request in OneSearch, click "Get it", and fill out the short form. You will be notified by email when your requested physical item arrives. Physical ILLs will take longer to arrive than document delivery. Be aware that it can take 2 weeks or more for your physical ILL to arrive. Items are picked up at your designed library as notated in your ILL request form. The library does not ship physical items to individuals.
