Creating a Reference List

General Reference Page Rules

  1. Start a new page at the end of the paper, continuing the header and page numbering used for previous pages.
     
  2. Use double-spacing for the entire page.
     
  3. Center the title, References, in bold one inch from the top of the page. 
     
  4. Begin list of works cited on the next line.
     
  5. Arrange cited works in alphabetical order by author.
     
  6. Start each citation flush with the left margin. Indent subsequent lines one-half inch (hanging indent).

       7.  Include all sources cited
